So #TheReadingQuest has begun! With a busy weekend behind me, I’ve only just got the change to do a wrap up for the first week of the reading challenge.

I had a good first week, I think, managing to tick off two out of five from my Mage reading list.

  • A Book With A One Word Title: STAGS by M.A. Bennett (review)
  • The First Book Of A Series: Every Heart A Doorway by Seanan McGuire (review)

I also started a book for the side quest Multiplayer: Buddy Read A Book. For the next week, I’ll be buddy reading Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo with Rekha, over at millionbookmil. I’m not very far into the book now, but I’m super excited for this and can’t wait to share with you guys what I think of this beloved series!

I also plan to tick off Potions: A Book Concocted by 2 or More Authors by the end of the week by reading A Change Is Gonna Come, a collection of poetry and short stories by BAME writers on the theme of change.

So, at the end of the first week, my stats currently stand at:

EXP Points: 30 EXP

HP Points: 57 HP

Level: 1

I had a good first week for this challenge and I’m excited for an equally good one to follow!

  1. Ahh, I wanted to join The Reading Quest, but I couldn’t find enough books on my TBR to complete all of the challenges. But, Every Heart A Doorway has been on my TBR for months now, and I hope to get to it soon. Also, I am currently reading Six of Crows and it is amazing. I hope that you find yourself enjoying it! ❤
